Gaw Yin Gyi Island is an island in Ayeyarwady Region in South West Myanmar. It is located near Nanthapu village, Ngayokekaung sub-township, Pathein District of Myanmar. Myawaddy Pagoda on the highest point of Gaw Yan Gyi island is the best view point to see the sea and surrounding area. It is over 400 steps to climb up to the top. On the way to Gaw Yan Gyi Island, there are two Elephant Camps where you can do the Elephant riding, bathing, & feeding.
